In This beautiful rainy night, Review Film Bagus would like to share you a movie presented by Banjong Pisanthanakun from GTH production that the story is re-telling you about a true story in Thailand, Pee Mak Phra Khanong (พี่มาก..พระโขนง). Long time ago when Thailand still in war attacked by the colonist, there is a man as one of the soldier that full of patriotism defending his beloved country against colonist. His name is Pee Mak (Mario Maurer). After he’s got into the war, somehow he got lose and got serious scars from the war. In the time after war was abating, He and 4 of his sharing friends in the same struggle decided to go back to their own village. But, they also decided to get one by one each of them into their friends’ village start from
the closer one, and the first route of their destination is Mak’s village, Phra Khanong. Mak was living with his wife, Nak (Davika Hoorne), that pregnant while Mak leaved her in the village to go war..

 The first horror moment comes when they were arrived in Mak’s village. They’re arrived in twilight, but in the village seem like already in midnight. When they’re arrived in Mak’s house, Mak had looking for his wife. When he met her, he hug her and kiss her softly after not see each other for long time since she was pregnant until the baby is come. He also looking for his new baby that he cannot attend in his born. He was happy and kissed all of the baby’s body that really cute and looks like him. After the reunion of him, his wife, and his baby was over, Mak introduced his friends to his wife, Nak. After he introduced them, He’s letting them to stay for a while in his aunt’s house that empty since her death.

The mystery starts when one by one of Mak’s friends knew and realized that there was something strange with Nak. They were realized that after Mak ask them to accompany him shop in the local market around. Every seller that knows Mak didn’t want to talk with him and seems afraid about something related with him. So, because of there are no seller want to sell their product to Mak, he’s got nothing to bring to the house. The second strange thing that his friend realize that when he saw Nak arm stretched out to take a lime that felt to the ground around 2 meters from her house terrace just by her arm. It’s not stop until there, the next scary thing also seen by the other friend of him that found Nak dead body buried in the ground. Their comedy things start when Nak knew that her husband’s friend tried to tell him if She was dead and now she was a ghost. She tried to warn them, but they’re not listening cause of they care about Mak that fool of an illusion given by his ghost wife.

In the middle of their effort to tell Mak about it, somehow they turned and had other thought about it. They thought and saw something also strange with Mak. So, now they’re confused of who is the ghost, Mak or Nak. The funny thing come again when they again and again had new though about the ghost is not both of them, but one from four of them. The Crazy thing done by them make the story is amusing your Friday night. The movie also serving you good ending that you will never expect before and impress you for the last moments. This is very recommended for you!
